I went to a UFC non-pro fight on Saturday. It was put on by KTK (konquer the Kage).. All I can say is UNBELIEVABLE!!!
I've been to fights before, but for some reason this was the event to be at. There were 11 fights (which was actually a small showing) and 3 title matches.
The event started strong with an elbow thrust knockout within 20 seconds of round one.
As the matches went on, all I can say is I have never seen so many knees to the head in my life! That left the competitors quite bloody. :mox:
But the last match was definately worth the ticket price.... The last match was a title fight match against one guy with street fighting and ju jit su skills and the other with wrestling and boxing skills. Well the fight was amazing.... One roundhouse kick to the head and the wrestler dropped to the mat, hard. He didn't regain conscienceness for about 5 mins. The match was over within 14 seconds. Talk about the audience tearing the roof off! It was amazing!
Of course afterwards, we all ended up watching the UFC championship on television.
Nothing quite like watching the technique and skill of those brave enough to step into the UFC/MMA ring. Whether Pro or not I'm impressed!:eertoast:
