Who is stoked to see it?

I was pretty stoked but the Ortiz/Shamrock fight is LOPSIDED. Be over probably in the first round with Ortiz laying a smack down on Shamrock. Shamrock is just too old now. Only good fight will be the Sylvia fight.
 
I'm watcing it.. I kind of hope shamrock atleast sticks around for 2 rounds, but Ortiz is going to kill himl lol
 
A little disappointed with this ufc I wish shamrock would ha ve put uklp a better fight
 
Anyone think the UFC is starting to get like the WWE. Not full blown but I'm starting to get the feeling that they will eventually have story lines to all their fights. Kind of sad..

yeah it does seem that way. It was funny b/c the place where I watched the fight at had about 10-15 hard core MMA fans. They knew everything about UFC, Pride all that shit and it was so funny hearing them make fun of the UFC. They also think a lot of it has to do with the show ulitimate fighter
 
The UFC is laughed at by most hardcore MMA guys, but hey if your an MMA fighter and you actually want money to get hit, the UFC is where to be. The sponsorships alone make it worth it for most any fighter to try to get an undercard spot.

Pride is the real deal, NOTHING like UFC. They allow stomps, knees to the head, north south knees, all that good stuff. And no they DONT allow elbows, they are a quick show stopper and dont speak for talent at all.

This Saturday,,I've had Dtv for 9 years they're not carrying it switching to comcast tomorrow,,How ironic i left comcast because of the fact they wouldn't braodcast the ufc,,I can't wait for Liddel vs Silva :headbange
 
Kimo has tested positive for steroids and won't fight Bas. I thought Wes Simms was gong to fill in but i'm not sure
