update on job and home sale

ok latest update, I am in a pretty good mood today! :headbange

finally got the word my home sold yesterday! I have the closing tommorow and then have 30 days to move out, I am really excited and give ALL thanks and credit to GOD, let me explain.

1. we found out the people had a bankruptcy
2. we found out the people had a home foreclosure separate from the bankruptcy

so no bank anywhere would loan them money, no way. I give God credit that somehow he helped me in a time of need. Don't know how, but a company approved their loan. :buff:

ok on to the job.............he said he would let me know by end of next week, and if not to call him. He never called....... So I called friday, no answer, so I left voice mail, no reply....I called yesterday, left message, no call back. I emailed later on monday, no reply. I was getting worried.

I called again this morning, he was available and informed me they finished all 15 interviews and narrowed it down to 4 people which I am one of. I have the next interview on next tuesday the 28th. Now this interview is with the business owners son, he basically runs the business now, while his dad sits back.

Good thing is, I know this guy, and have known him for years, we went to high school together, so I feel this is a positive thing in my favor. I feel good about it, will update as I know more, wish me luck

I would say you do. I would say I'm thankful to be alive but sometimes I question that. lol
 
well not really bro, you should be thankful your alive and in good health, think of all the people who are not in good health
 
good news bro-
I would kick myself in the ass if I had to work for some doushe I went to high school with. I hated almost everyone there and the fact I would be under them would really bother me.

I have to agree there. I thought everyone I went to schol with was an asshole and wouldn't give them the time of day. Although I feel that way about everyone so that doesn't mean much. lmao
 
well when people are in high school they are kids and act immature, 99% of the kids that were dickheads are really nice people now, MOST..... and I say MOST people grow up after high school. This guy is a down to earth guy, I know 2 people who work there now besides him and they say his whole family is pleasant and easy to work for

I have to be out by dec 22nd

Great news hun!! I am a little behind with things on the board though. What kind of job is it? And where are you moving? Do you have another place yet?

IG, the job is a service advisor for a local auto dealer in my town, they are offereing me what I make now as a base salary, PLUS commission. It is daytime hours, so that is the most important thing, so I can be with my family once again.

and I did not buy a house yet, I am moving into a house my dad has had for sale for over a year. I am going to rent it from him until we decide about our jobs and what direction we need to go.
 
ok that was the most grueling interview I ever had in my life. It lasted an hour and 45 minutes, they had me in the hot seat for sure. Said he has 2 interviews today and the last one on thursday afternoon, and he said to call him after that for an update, he also said he thought I had potential.........I am confident about the interview and feel pretty good about how it went.

Glad to hear your house sold GFE. Keep your head up and things will happen in your favor - "don't sweat the small stuff" - everything happens for a reason, keep faith brother.
