I've never seen this before. While we've seen pics of Nubret & Oliva on stage together, haven't seen one with Robby in the mix also. This was in '81, so Nubret was 43 & Oliva 40 - both beyond their prime. First guy is Kal Szkalak - remember him? Even though far past his best ever, notice how MASSIVE Oliva is next to Robby. IMO Sergio had THEE most massive arms ever - even forearms were insane. Might not have been the biggest on the tape due to lack of a peak, however, his bi & tricep bellies were sooo long, I'd bet if there was a way to measure full surface coverage of the muscles from top to bottom, his wouldn't be surpassed. RIP Sergio.

The distance from the top of his bi to the bottom of his tri is like 80% of the width of his waist - crazy.

To think a guy could acquire arms of such dimensions on the purported doses of AAS back in that era is just mind boggling. Sergio was in front of the line when GOD handed out genetics, that's for sure!

His son has seemed to have gotten them too. Robby is still a damn beast

you know that top photo with them together.....its amazing how wide he was uptop and freaking huge...to have such a small waist...that photo is incredible...hes always been inspiring to me and I have never seen that...

where did you find it?

Yahoo search. Sergio is 40 there - if he were 5-10 years younger, he would have owned them even more.

I remember reading Muscle Builder back when Robby was making his mark in '78 & '79. They used to have articles often comparing him to Sergio & saying "who is better?". Of course it was a Weider mag, and we all know the deal with Weider & Sergio. IMO Robby couldn't hold Sergios jockstrap haha! Don't get me wrong - I like Robby and indeed he had a very good physique - but we're talking about comparing him to possibly the best physique of all time. Robby had some killa bicep peaks, nice back, hams and great abs/serratus, but in no way he had the overall mass, full muscle bellies & structure to even hang with Sergio. You put Sergio of '72 against Robby of '79 - arguably when each was at their best - and it wouldn't even be close.
