For those of you suburb folk, I decided to take a drive down to the famous Cabrini Green housing projects today. Since it was Easter, I figured it'd be safe to go down there today;) I will edit these vid's and put them up. Look for them soon.

Most of these projects are being torn down so these vid's one day will be a memory of what once used to be one of the most dangerous neighborhood's in Chicago. Cop's as well as other people have been shot (every day) by snipers off these buildings. Children run home after school in order to make it the next day..

sad to see children growing up in that shit.....who do we hold responsible for stuff like that...the first aim is usually the government, but that cant be it.....people have choices, free will and free reign....our own sins get us to that point.....not to get religious on you....

That was really cool man. I came from a good family but I left home when I was 16 for a place exactly like that. I thank everyday that I changed my life.

I can only imagine what goes on there at night.........

My GF is a crazy one like me. She knows the area a hell of a lot better then I do lol. But I agree, I wouldn't take her inside for sure. Maybe G4E will go with me when he stops by :)

Yup it is that way in a lot of the country. Some of the things I have seen and done were worse that what I have seen and done in Iraq and Afghanistan.

if he's willing to come, I'll take him. The trick is walking around like nothing. If you walk around scared and shit your basically done. The link was pretty good. Only bad thing is that they will never get rid of all of them. If they do, they are still making Low income housing in that area anyway which will turn into the same thing eventually..
 
If you've ever seen The movie Candy Man it's filmed in his area and they go inside these buildings..

damn. bro i thas been a long time since i have been down there. brings back some memories. cant say that i miss it at all. especially when i would be riding the train home after work and go past there to see the pimped out g-rides and all the gold. while looking at my check and seeing how much was taken out of it only to get disgusted knowing im buying the food stamps for them.
