Weight Gain Issues

I just started first cycle of test prop (50mg every other day) and winstrol (40mg per day). I had already been in deficit for several weeks and lost about 10 pounds. Still kept same deficit diet since starting wini last week but I've started gaining about a half pound every couple of days. Cardio and training volume and intensity haven't changed from before. Not noticing any obvious sides. Any ideas on where the weight gain could be coming from?
 
Could be water weight from the prop. I have heard of weight gain from winstrol as well. If you are feeling good and not gaining fat I wouldn’t worry about it
 
You ARE aware that guys use gear to gain muscle right?lol Not trying to be a dick, but you're putting on some muscle, hence the weight gain. Not to mention water as mentioned above. Also add that being your FIRST cycle, first cycles are usually the best in terms of gains since your receptors are completely virgin and BOOM, there it is. Just to add, if you lost 10 lbs from deficit, you have to CONTINUE reducing cals to keep seeing the same drop in scale weight. Same goes with adding weight, you gain weight, you have to keep adding cals to continue to keep gaining.

Lastly, why run such a small dose cycle being your first? Don't get me wrong - I never advocate large doses, but man 50mg eod of test is pretty much a trt dose - why not double that dose to 100mg eod to at least reap some real gains?? Yeah you got the winny in there, but that doesn't really put on much muscle. You only get ONE first cycle in life dude - don't waste it.
 
I need to correct my above post....since you are now on gear, you're NOT going to see the same weight drop as you have been, bcoz gear puts on muscle and muscle weighs more than fat being it's much more dense. So as reps mentioned, forget the scale dude - use the mirror as your guide. You might put on 10+ lbs on the scale over the next 8 weeks and yet drop bodyfat at the same time, hence looking leaner and better.
 
What dogpound Hank said is exactly what I was thinking when I asked you if this was your first cycle. Good advice right there.
 
prop and winny is an odd first time ....how was it you decided on dosage and what to get ? i was kind of wondering if it was just what you could get at the time ?
 
If you get too much into a deficit of calories your body will go into starvation mode and start storing up fat. You may actually need to up your calories just a bit.

i figured so access to this are you now privy to more ? so you have a base extra over nothing so normal test didnt shut down now your cup over flow lol but it wont work again so more thought needs to be put in for your goals ...have you had any trhought on the next run ?

I'm thinking of 400 test and 300 primo every week for next, splitting dose every Sunday and Wednesday.
