what are you gonna say when your kids ask about drugs

when they ask about drugs?

i have a little boy and i know one day he is gonna ask about how i look and why im so much bigger then my brothers or the other dads

what do you say to that?

i have a 12 yr old nephew who recently came out and asked me "uncle X are you on steroids?" i was like abolutely not why would you ask that and the little shit said to me that i dont look like the other dads or even his dad

i told him i work out a lot eat right and one day if he eats right he can look the same--at least he eats his veggies now my sister says
 
Probably the same thing I said last weekend when my 15year old asked me for birth control. ..uh. .uh. ..uh. ......WHAT!
 
They don't need to know everything until they're out on their own. Then, it's still questionable if they need to know anything...
 
The same thing I tell most people.....20 years of training, good solid diet and lots of gym time....if they know they'll think it's "ok" so they may be interested in using as well so rather not tell them.
 
I tell alot of people that they should go try to eat like I eat and train how I train, and then see what happens to their body. The problem with my older one is they have seen me eat and train pretty much similar natty and on sauce. He aint stupid.
 
thats a good question. i have no idea other than to protect them from it at almost any cost. its not just gear or drugs per say. theres so much f ed up shit out there now that i dont remember from when i was a kid. weirdos, etc. i dont want to spell it out but you know what i mean. scary...

Are we talkin bout juice or drugs. To me, they're not the same. Drugs, I'll put my size 11 in his chest.
 
My oldest knows what I do. He's 32. And is running a simple test cycle now.

My 23 year old might know. But he's "don't ask, don't tell" minded and don't want to know.

The 18yr old. Bah. He's clueless.

The 17yr old tells me I'm a juice head, steroid boy, needle freak you name it. We were moving boxes today and one was heavy. I asked if he needed help, he said nah, I'm all steroided up like you. I got this. Kid is a fucking clown. It's all a joke to him.

Our kids are not stupid. And "age permitting" educating them will be better than lying to them.
 
When the time comes if ever I'd tell him 7 guide him letting him know the dangers of getting into the game. Besides that I'd hook him up on some great natural supps w/ a diet.
 
I would keep my mouth shut and say exactly what you said, eat right and hit the gym. Keep it to yourself.
 
One has to think about ones own rationale behind using AAS. If you choose to be honest with your children the next inevitable question from them will be, "why do you use steroids?". If you're not prepared to answer that question, or the answer is along the lines of, "I have low self-esteem and a poor body image", than maybe it's best that you're not so candid with the truth.

I agree...there is a time and place for everything. Being brutally honest about something that they might not be ready to process in a mature manner can lead them in the wrong directions for other things. If they are old enough or mature enough to understand certain things, then I will be glad to explain my position. If they are not mature enough then I will ask them why they ask? What do they know about this and probably steer the conversation to a lecture about drugs, government, laws, etc... Open their mind a little and let them know that drugs are bad. I don't think steroids are the same level as crack or whatever the Gov has classed them.

So I will feed them what their mind is allowing them to be fed. Just like I don't give a 5 yr old a shot of tequilla or put on scary movies for them. They are not ready for that stuff to understand it is just a camera and entertainment or whatever. There is a time and place for everything.
 
If the question is about drugs, then my reply is stay away. If the question is about steroids, a easy reply as you do not need steroids just lift and eat. WILL WORK. No reason to get mad about the question drugs are horrible for you. Steroids well im sure many people wont use them.

It just depends on the person and how they take things. Like when i was young i was told to not do drugs, but at the same time i caught my uncles doing coke, weed. I just knew to stay away from it myself. I was young and it did not interest me. But at the same time i had friends at the young age 10-15 drinking/smoke and i just thought whatever it didnt matter.
