Looking for a little help from everyone.
I need a list of foods that you all eat or like to eat that if you had to write yourself a meal plan you would include. If you know the nutritional facts of GI that?s awesome but if not its ok I?ll find it.

So you guys tell me what food exactly you would like to have on a meal plan.

Thanks.

I'd like ice cream and chocolate on my meal plan ................... any chance of that ? ?

I would consider healthy foods, chicken breast, lean red meat, lowfat dairy, whole grains, rice, eggs, veggies, etc.

How about we dont forget about the good fats and the omega's ............... fish.
Salmon, Tuna and the rest.

a good CHURRASCO STEAK!!! personally the main, best, andmost effective healthy bulk food that gains me sizee

Depending on the season your in like lifts said lean meats, veggies, grains, fruits.

I assume you are looking at the GI closely. The best advice I have is for you to remember that adding protein to your meal will significantly reduce the GI of other foods. So if you are eating something like carrots (GI is roughly a 48-51) have some peanut butter with it. This will reduce the GI of the carrots to around 40..

I personally try to eat only foods 50 and lower on the GI scale... Of course with the except of my post training meal where I have a small white potato. Which is still eaten with protein..

Protein- Eggs, chicken, steak, cottage cheese, shakes.
Carbs- wheat bread, pasta( the whole wheat stuff is not bad)Im not a big fan of veggies and oatmeal. This is where my diet hurts.
Simple carbs(pwo only)yogurt, raisins, 100% juices
fat- peanuts, olive oil, not a big fan of flax oil but once a day is o.k.

Are you going to post the meal plan? If so, thanks alot, your a big help and a true professional. Cant wait.

Actually the GI in itself is aboslutely worthless. You have to calculate the GL. So the idea of adding protein to reduce GI is not really gonna help you reduce insulin activity.

I beg to differ on that. I personally don't hold the G.I. to a high level of importance, but for people that do, my point was adding protein is an essental part of a balanced diet.
