I've spent the past 5 years collecting parts from around the world to rebuild a 1966 Honda Cb450 Super Sport. I have gotten parts from Canada, England, Norway, Sweden, Germany, France, South America, several Asian countries, and, of course, all across the USA.
It's already been stripped, painted, and has a ton of NOS parts. I finally got the seat hardware, the seat, gas tank, and a set of custom shocks which are awesome.
I'm also rebuilding a 1975 Honda CL360 Scrambler. Course, my wife doesn't want me to ride at all.
I collect history books about Ireland, the British Isles, and Europe which were written prior to 1860.
I've got about 20 or so. Just got one written in 1658 called, "Hydriotaphia and the Garden of Cyrus."
I had my DNA checked with the National Genographic Project and have been researching my ancestry for 8 years. The oldest relative I know of was a Hessian soldier in the Revolutionary War. His name was Leonard, he was born in Germany. He was my GGGGreat Grandfather on my mother's side. My GGGreat Grandfather on my father's side was born in England. I am a fifth generation born American and was proud to serve 17 years in the military.
I have spent the last two years finishing a second Master Degree and getting a Teacher Certification. Accomplished both in 2007.
I coach my 7 year old's soccer team, and spend most of my time at home with the family. I love swimming and am an expert in all nine strokes. My two girls take swimming class on Saturday's. I spend the summer with them at the pool as I am on vacation.
Concerning family time, my wife and I like to have family visits to historical sites on weekends. Two weekends ago we took the kids to Washington, DC for 3 days and 2 nights. We finished up at George Washington's home in Mt. Vernon, VA.
For you bicep fans, try carrying a kid on each arm for a mile and a half two days in a row. One weighs 40 and the other 22. Ohhh, what a pump I got in my arms and shoulders!
Lastly, I love golf, but with the kids, can't usually put away a block of time for myself. That's why I make regular stops at the driving rage on the way home from work (when it's in-season and they're open). I drive accurately between 180 and 240 yards and relish in putting them over the fence amidst the "Hackers!"
