kraut-mick, I consider myself German beings I'm only 3rd generation born in the states where as my mom's side has been over here forever and I look like my great grandfather (the last one born in Germany). I do claim my Irish routes whenever Conor Mcgregor fights tho.

I knew I liked you...

I always remind my wife that I'm a superior piece of genetic German engineering and its a good thing the kids have me mixed in to her melting pot of inferiority.

See why she likes me?? Of course...!

lol, that's great. I love breaking guido buddies balls how like yah u guys have good genetics for 35 maybe 40 years, then you all become fat. Us German's are built to last and can be some big boys.

I actually got a DNA test cause my friend kept insisting and it got me intrigued. Mainly East Indian, with some but very little Polynesian, and melenasian.

German and Irish. My aunts went over to Ireland to spend time with cousins that still live there. Wound up meet a few generations there.

A mix.

My paternal grandfather's father's line: still figuring it out. It's probably either German, Scottish, Irish, or scandinavian.

My paternal grandmother's father's line: Dutch/German....and maybe Russian if you go further back.

My Maternal grandmother's father's line came over from Briston, Lincolnshire, England in 1684. I also have Cherokee indian from this line.

My maternal grandfather's father's line came from Portugal between 1880's to early 1890's into Boston, Massachusettes.

So I'm for sure German/Dutch, Portuguese, Cherokee Native Indian....and whatever my Paternal grandfather's line is...as mentioned above.

I usually just say I'm German/Portuguese.

Spent 10 years studying my geneology when I was a science teacher with both full-spectrum YDNA and MTDNA tests done.
Father's Male line is Frisian; perfectly matching the Frislandian Haplogroup of the North Sea, directly related to the Buighde's (Boyd's) who had a castle and were established in Scotland by 500AD. Interesting thing to note is my haplogroup is R1B1B2A1, but there have been 43 newer mutations to this line since mine was made, meaning my male line was isolated for about 3000 years away from commercial centers. I am a 5th generation Philadelphian born male on my Father's side; emigrated to Philadelphia in the 1830's.
Father's Female line is of Scottish ancestry dating to Northumberland, British Isle pre-Roman times; 30 AD. Emigrated to America in 1664.
Mother's Male line was a Hessian from South West Germany (Baden Wurtenburg) who came over to fight in the Revolutionary War in 1775 and never went back. I am a 7th generation Pennsylvanian on his side; big German dude, very technically inclined.
Mother's Female line was a Slavic female (from the Upper Dnieper River Valley, Ukraine) who was taken to Ireland around 1100 by Scandinavian explorers. Mother's Grand Mother came to America in 1882. She was the most recent American settler as one of my Grand Parents.

Ukraine and welsh. Both sides of the family moved over to Canada post war. Lucky though for my Ukrainian side they could get out of stalins russia
