I moved to this small town I live in, in Texas about 2 years ago for a friend that got another job and moved elsewhere. I stayed for the girl I fell for but we have gone separate ways. I have no reason to stay in this sorry little town anymore.

Anyplace you guys had always wished you had gone to live but for some reason never did? Or some place you would suggest? Heres what I find important.

1. I hate the cold, the warmer year around the better

2. Single, need to go where the single females are.

3. I work at a dealership as a service writer, Im good at sales, some say really good. I need a simular job.

4. I like things to do, going out to bars/clubs, the lake, bike riding, hiking stuff like that.

Looking for somewhere good all around, decent cost of living, people, scenery, stuff to do, healthy people. Im thinking Dallas with my friend that already lives there. I lived in Austin most of my life.

Any ideas?

I don't know about the requirements you said, but I plan on moving south once out of college. Like you, I can't stand cold weather....I'm thinking like southern South Carolina area. Cost of living isn't outrageous, it's warm all year, I'm sure there's other reasons but I can't think of them right now.

Go south, the north sucks, and sweet country women with their country talk are the best. :eertoast:

nigbo, kinda ironic you say seattle and your sig mentions suicide... don't they have like one of the highest rates of suicide in the country? :D

I feel you bro been thinking of moving for a long time myself... I can't decide on a spot but to be honest I think maybe just picking up and doing it is the best bet... I've been giving Florida a look for years

Good post. Ahhh moving...

I have always wanted to move to the Venice Beach, California area. I love it there. Warm weather, interesting people, but damn expensive.. It was a serious thought of mine after my divorce...but..I'm STILL stuck in Wisconsin. What the hell is that all about??
