And just to be clear, I am not saying if you like Bush or are conservative then I think you are ignorant. I dont think that. We CAN have our political differences. As long as we approach everythin without being personal with each other I think we can be free to share our thoughts.

Agreed. Both Bush (R) and Blanco (D) each made their share of mistakes. I don't think this situation really has anything to do with party affiliation. I think this has to do with dropping the ball. And in this case, it was a very, very big ball.

On another note, evacuees who lost everything and are here are talking about not going back at all. They've already started looking for jobs here & are just wanting to get a fresh start.

I'm hearing the same thing. You know, if this does happen, NO will be nothing but industry, tourism, and the poor.
