Who loves working back?

ME ME ME! :D Just my 2nd back w.o yesterday after a 3 month hiatus from the iron. Pre-w.o I drank a Monster energy drink, 12.5mg of eph tablet and 1 Lipo-6 capsule and I was JACKED da fuck up! :uzi::lang: Killa gym music where I go...they play all 80's shit ie, GNR, AC/DC, Metallica, Motley Crue, Scorpions, etc. Heres what I did:

overhand wide-grip pulldowns - 20, 12, 10*, 8*
deads - 12, 8, 8*, 4*
barbell rows - 12, 8*, 8*
T-bar rows - 12, 8*, 8*
underhand close-grip pulldowns - 10*, 8*

* = worksets

My ass is fried and feeling it bigtime. Probably shouldn't be kicking it so hard being outta the iron so long, but hey, thats me. :D
 
The bracket rules...go for it. :D Saves from having to find someone to stand on/brace the end of the bar in the corner when ya get over 5 plates.

As for the curved T-bar hookup, I would save your money. Just a regular V-handle under the bar works great dude. ;)
 
Thats what I have been using the V handle for my lat machine and sticking the bar in the corner.
But I'm thinking that with this T-handle, I can utilize the wide grip
 
I did until I threw it out yesterday scratching a damn itch.
 
I love back, and legs...its like a necessary evil! because you know noone hardly ever sees your back or legs but you just gotta do it! Just for that one time someone's talking smack and you can lift your shorts and show some killer quads....then they shut the f**k up!! they have nothing to say! haha
 
I really have a love/hate relationship with back. I love the feeling but hate the soreness. Here is my routine right now cause I am bulking.. I do one warmup and about 2-3 working sets
Wide chins
T bar row or barbell rows
Reverse grip close hand pulldowns
Seated cable rows or hammerstrength rows 1 arm at a time, I would do dummbell rows but the dumbells only go up to 125 and my sissy ass gym
Lat pulldowns, sometimes use the hammerstrength lat pulldown apparatus
Rack deadlifts
 
BSD you reminded me that I should add that I miss doing wg chins...did'em for many years. But with age & my bdwt, they take the toll on my r-cuffs. :(

I was always a firm believer that to epitomize lat width, they was a necessity. But I guess Dorian proved that theory wrong.lol :p

I hate workin out back. but i love the soreness. i know thats really weird. maybe if i had a back as ripped as Lifts i would like workin back a little more...
