Bush has done a far better job than either Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton. Many on here seem to have a short memory span.

McCain/Palin '08!

Bush has run the national debt to 10 trillion dollars, a budget deficit of 1/2 trillion after inheriting a surplus of 200 billion. He out right lied to start a completely unnecessary war. People are out of work and losing homes at record rates. The USA has lost credibility with the majority of the civilized world. The middle class has been all but eliminated while the large corporations, most notably the oil mega corps reap record profits, quarter after quarter. That's what you consider a good job?????

McCain/Palin '08!

Our economy was damn good when Clinton was president. I dont know if that was just dumb luck and it was heading that way when bush sr. was leaving or what but reguardless it was the best its been in a while. I was watching GMA and bush and his wife were in africa talking to ann curry about the economy and Ann asked. "Mr. President what do you think has happened to our ecomony to make it the way it is currently. His response, "Well ann, we as American just bought too many houses, plain and simple" No mother fucker ppl are losing there houses because jobs are being outsourced to other countries, factories are shutting down left and right. I live in ohio and there is a GM plant about 2 miles from me and its shutting down in 08. Hell they are down to only one shift right now. Thats alot of hard working americans out of jobs because gas prices are so damn high that ppl cant really afford to drive. Reguardless of who becomes president they have to do a better job then bush and I just dont think its gonna be McCain/Palin. Hell McCain thinks american middle class makes 5million a year, and he doesnt even know how many houses he has(7) He is out of touch with the american public and he has also sided with bush 90% of the time in all decisions. I dont know about you but I am not wanting to go through another 4 or more years for 10% of change. Sad thing is if Obama does win we will probably have all these white suprimicists trying to assassinate him. So if you want more of the same then vote McCain.

While these may be reasons for people loosing their houses, it isn't the main reason for the decline of the housing industry. People around me lost their homes because they accepted a loan that offered VERY good first year rates that, within the contract, stated they would infact rise after the initial year.

However stated the job outsourcing had a lot to do with NAFTA, which was the dems baby.

Yeah I forgot about the loans that ppl were getting thats rates would skyrocket after the first few years. In reguards to NAFTA my brotha lifts says it best on page 2 of this thread. NAFTA became law in 1994 when both the House and Senate were controlled by Republicans. So the Republicans had alot to do with it too, baby lol

It takes years for the things that presidents due to take affect
the negative stuff we see now while bush is in office is a result of things that happened and have taken time to run its course while clinton was in office

That statement is so full of shit, you hear it said every time a Republican president fucks up the economy and nation. What gets me is that some people are so ill informed/educated that they but into it.

I respect you bro, but you're wrong, in the senate as many dems voted against Nafta as did the republicans. Senator McCain voted for it. Below is the actual tallies of who voted and how.

Look at my man lifts throwin out statistics to school you bitches on politics lol....Jk I respect all of your opinions, atleast we all agree that we are only digging ourselves deeper and if we dont get out of it soon we will be in a world of shit.

Nafta sucks and Bill Clinton was in favor but also in the house 156 Dems voted against it and only 43 Republicans voted against. Bill's biggest fuck up IMO...well maybe next to Monica.

i dont believe in democracy so i dont vote in democracy functions. democracy is half retarded and i dont know why we try to spread it out to other countries.

vote for obama, plan on paying 40 percent gains on housing and divs. and have an ignorant son of a bitch as the president who thinks it's 1960. he's doing the same exact reform as it was in 1960 and we saw terrible things happen. i just dont see how tax the productive members of society and give it to unproductive members of society. Tax the living shit out of man who risked thousands of dolllars on a gamble on the stock market and once he makes some money.. tax that motherfucker nearly half and give it to some useless fucks who live in public housing. u gotta be shitting me. who thinks that is great??? 1960s yo

vote mccain end one of the most goddamned important experiments that could save billions of lives. yes stem cell research that uses blastocasts from human embreyos.

in conclusion we are fucked. the government thrives on social ignorance

how half retarded would you have to be to vote no to NAFTA. seriously how fucking stupid are these fuckers that run the country.

Republicans created the Patriot act and warrantless wire tapping of American citizens along with evoking "stop loss" on our soldiers, all major attacks on our freedoms. And unless I'm wrong 9/11 was on Bush's watch. McCain keeps bitching about 3 mill spent on DNA testing of Bears, buts wants to keep spending 350 million everyday in Iraq.

I do agree, there is an ass of tax payers money being spent in Iraq, and I don't like the fact that our brothers are being killed over there. That being said, america went to the aid of south vietnam and once the newness wore off people got tired of soldiers being killed and money spent. IN MY OPINION, Iraq will not change. No is no way that they will become a democracy. That being said, there will always be a need to have soldiers in Iraq. If not the terrorism will start up again in the U.S. We have been in Germany for over 50 years and other parts of the world spending billions of dollars. The truth is my brothers Americans aren't very popular throughout the world, but people do fear us. If we ever lose that we are screwed. Do I like spending trillions of dollars and being the worlds body guard NO!!! But the option is even worse. People talk about Bush. There is no doubt he is an idiot, but someone liked him enough to vote him in office twice. The Congress is the pieces of shit that need their nuts on the chopping block and there are more democrats in congress than Repulicans... I love to debate, but I am glad that at least people are interested in the election. I think that we can all agree that who ever wins, I hope that they will look after our best interest. And at least we have the freedom to voice our opinions, whether we agree or not (lol)...

Bush, Bush, Bush, typical Democratic Congress blaming all their inequities on the head man. Read your civics, folks, it's Congress who appropriate the budget.
I don't think McCain is anything like Bush. Just because he isn't negative about Bush's record doesn't mean he is die-hard to repeat it. If I remember he doesn't ride well on negativity.
Palin has made executive decisions for years while Ofama has voted for some of the most ridiculous things in Washington; foreign aid to Kenya (where his half brother is the leader), third-term abortion, etc. Just because he jumped on the bandwagon doesn't mean he can play music. Get real.

There have only been more Democrats in congress than Republicans for what the last 18 mts, and at numbers insufficient to override a Bush veto. To blame any of this shit our nation is in on a Democratic congress is ludicrous, as the Republicans controlled congress for the last couple of decades. As for Palin she was mayor of a town smaller than most Vagas hotels and Gov. of Alaska pop 700k for less than 2 years. From what I've seen her major decisions before she became Gov. was what she should wear to the PTA meeting and Assembly of God church.

All good points but remember there have only been more Democrats in congress for the last 18mts after years and years of Republican domination.

how well do i remember when bush started his war in iraq, anyone who voiced an opinion against the war was unpatriotic. bush was declared the hero, stopping terrorism overseas and protecting us at home. now we all know including the republicans that the war was all based on lies and spin, there were no weapons of mass destruction, no nuclear threats, just a president that was willing to distort intel to serve his purpose. if for no other reason than starting a war that has killed thousands of our servicemen and women and maimed many thousands more, i would vote against Mccain and the republicans who still say we are winning this war and want to continue it to achieve "victory"! this is not to mention that bush has trashed our economy, run up our national debt to levels our grandchildren will be paying off, alienated most of the worlds leaders. has anyone other than me noticed that all of the multi-national forces in iraq are withdrawing? it is a flat out embarassment whenever bush speaks publickly. And we want to elect a candidate who espouses more of the same? don't any of the republicans see john as an old and frail man with a young attractive "pitbull" with no depth to her resume only a heartbeat away from the presidency? I think it is great that she was the head of the local pta and a mayor of her home town but we are talking about arguably the single most powerful person in the world and i am not so sure i want her finger on the trigger. i still have some questions about obama but i sure don't have any about the republican ticket, no way, no how, i am voting obama!

jb

Obongo would be an absolute disaster for this country. All his supporters jump on his "change, change" bandwagon. Affordable healthcare for everyone, extended unemployment benefits, ect, ect. People cheer and cheer, yet not one single one of them gives 1 fucking thought as to how Obongo is going to pay for all this shit. Higher taxes, higher taxes, higher taxes, higher taxes, the core value of the democratic party.

You Obongo guys are living in a dream world, get your Korans, let's go!
And lift, I think you have congressional rule backwards.

"The Republicans who took over the House in 1994 adopted some of the same policies the Democrats now propose, including a ban on gifts and travel, only to relax the rules later. In 2002, Senators John McCain, a Republican, and Russell Feingold, a Democrat, pushed through a law to restrict campaign donations and spending."

Hey, this is America, though, vote as you will. It's all good.

Hey, this is America, though, vote as you will. It's all good.

You claim to be educated yet you revert to name calling "Obongo" and insinuating that Obama is Muslim which is a lie. But the last seven years of this administration has been based on lies, so I guess it's par for the course. I wonder how much of the anti-Obama clan arn't deep seated racists?

lifts, why you have to be a dick and break out nafta facts :D

I hate getting into these types of threads because most often, facts, reason and logic are ignored. Obama voted against CAFTA and wants to re-work NAFTA to benefit working class Americans.

It wasn't really ignored, both sides voted for it. The main man at the time was also for it :)

I meant facts in general are ignored, as for NAFTA Clinton fucked up and signed it into law. I Don't claim the Democrats have all the answers and I don't agree with all of there platform, for instance I'm against gun control for non felons and late stage abortion sickens me, so on these and a few other issues I voice my opinion to legislators. Also I'm in favor of off shore drilling and in Anwar.

What I find funny, I mean, it really gets me laughing is when people actually believe that politicians give 2 shits about them. A democratic supporter automatically attacks a non democrat supporter as a republican, so lets get that out fo the way immediately. I do not like Mccain at all, but I like Obongo even less. He cares, he cares, he will fight for you. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? Does anyone actually believe that shit? Here is a little known fact. It is little known because if anyone has a glimmer of common sense about them, they know that the main stream media gives democrats and liberals free passes, while they try and crucify conservative.

First off, Obongo is worth millions.......................MILLIONS, so he doesn't relate to everyday working class americans, he doesn't. He has NEVER authored a bill, or anything to try and keep companies from moving jobs overseas, but now all of a sudden he is concerned about it? Bullshit. On a personal note. Did you know that Obongo's half brother in Kenya, HALF BROTHER, lives on less than 1 dollar a day while Obongo lives his multimillion dollar lifestyle? He doesn't give 2 shits about his own blood, what in the world makes one think he will give 2 shits about you?

Bush is/was a fucking disaster, the only true candidate for change was Rep Ron Paul, but the american people fucked that one up. Mccain is bad, there is no question about that, but Obongo would be far worse for our nation.
