Woman Cop's?

The topic came up on a TV show, debating whether or not Woman should be allowed to be on the streets as Cops. What's everyone take on this? My opinion might offend some, but here it goes lol. I honestly think that woman should not be allowed to be street cops. Why, because it's a very dangerous Job. Men are much stronger then woman, and I've seen video's time and time again of criminals taking advantage of a situation because they're pulled over by a woman cop. Think about it, if you were a criminal, would you be intimidated by a Male cop, or a Female cop? My guess would be a Male Cop. Yea, I know there is a thing called equal rights, which is anything but equal, but that's a topic for another thread lol. I've also seen more qualified Cops, not get hired because a police department needs to hire more woman. What do you guy's think?

First of all, I think that saying that women shouldn't be anything is such an awful generalization.
 
there are some women who could handle the job, but I think there are more that could not. I think a strong woman like IG would have no trouble as she could probably kick most guy's asses.

the one the bothers me most is women firefighters, here again they are required to carry a body out of a burning building, now if the woman is 125lbs, how is she gonna drag or carry a 220lb guy out? this has nothing to do with a woman or man is better, I am merely talking about the strength here, and I believe buffness is not trying to be condesending either towards women.

majority of jobs in the world women should be allowed to do with equal pay, that is my opinion, but very few jobs they shouldn't do. and there are jobs that men should not do as well. one job I think a guy should not do is be a nurse. when I was a kid I hated male nurse's, when I was sick I wanted a female, which I think was more "momlike" to care for me. My wife told me a lot of patients in her nursing home refuse to let the male nurses or male nurseaides care from them because they imtimidate the old people. once again my opinion
 
i agree on the firemen also, if im in a burrnin buildin, passed out or cant get my ass outa there, i want some huge strong juiced up mother f*cker commin 2 get me
 
Well all I have to say is when I was working this weekend I felt a lot better when the 6' 220lb male cop on duty stopped by rather than the 5'1 100lb female officer did.

Plain and simple I saw the male cop take down a big sob who was drunk that night and being stupid with ease and I don't think the woman could have stopped him unless she shot him.

Sorry IG. I mean put Rebecca Swanson on the force and i'm all for her being a cop as she is a freak and could kick anybody's ass, but some women should not be cops.

O another reason why I don't like female cops is b/c one pulled a gun on me for speeding. Yes I was going really fast, but still. O screw it listen to this. I was going 110 yes 110 and I got pulled over, damn Stang had a govenor on it. Anyway she pulled me over gun pulled and drawn on me telling me how I was going to jail and what not. I told her that my dad got kicked in the head by a horse and was I was going to the hospital. She didn't even ask for my name. She yelled at me for 1min and let me go. I deserved to have my ass beat for that and didn't get even a slap on the wrist.

In my defense I was 16 and retarded

Now that's a generalization if I ever heard one!!!! That's like me saying "I don;t like guys with black hair cause one yelled at me once". See what I mean. I'm sure a MALE cop could have done the same thing.

As for being a "small" woman, how do you know what she is capable of? I am sure there are plenty of women who look small but can kick your fuking ass. And as for using a gun- well she got it, she can damn well use it if she has to.

I agree that some women shouldn't be cops, just as some women shouldn't be...whatever. I'm a nurse, and I know plenty of WOMEN who shouldn't be nurses because they are idiots. And btw, I know a lot of GOOD male nurses. If I can pass all the requirements there are for being a cop, I damn well should be allowed to be one. And as for someone being more comfortable with a male cop over a female cop- well that's their problem.

Same with someone being uncomfortable with a male nurse. Well, once that older generation is gone, most people won't care because we are growing up in a completely differnet society. And people for the most part are much more accepting. Notice I said "for the most part". There will always be sterotypes, homophobia, prejudice, etc.

And for the record, I don't agree with women being hired as a police officer, or anything else for that matter, just to fill a quota. If you can't do it, you don't get the job. I know a girl who couldn't get into the FD because she couldn't physically do the work.

Ok, that gives you an idea of where I stand on this issue :D And I would never be able to be a police officer cause I'd get in trouble- I woudl eventually not be able to resist kicking the shit out of some stupid fucker, or shooting him. And trust me, you wouldn't want to tangle with me when I'm mad :devil1:
 
I've beat up male cops in the past and actually got away in a couple situations from knocking them out and running. However, I wouldn't hit a lady and the last time I got arrested was because a female cop tazed me and I didn't have the heart to knock her out.

There's some food for thought.

Not anymore, I've gone 3yrs now without so much as a traffic ticket. I was a pretty bad kid, though. But, marriage straightened me out. I just stay in relationships now. A man's gotta know his limitations.

Well the reason of having the gun pulled on me was more of a joke than anything. I deserved it I know it. So we can set that on the back burner for awhile.
 
hey guys,this a great one! i have taught ju-jutsu for many years, and whenever i get some big headed guy start, who thinks he,s above everyone else, i partner them up with my secret weapon! she,s sixteen, only five feet tall.., and looks very shy! but she,l beat the crap out of any guy bigger than her!! naughty, but a lot of fun,lol
