Anyone else here really love a beautiful looking yard? I know that's not a very interesting topic, but that's what I like about this time of year the grass is so damn prettty. I have to spend a little time with it, ariating, dethaching and reseeding areas that didn't make it very well through the hot summer. But the reward is worth it not hardly a weed in it, it looks like green carpet. Anyone else take that much pride in their yard?

I'd say cost is about $200 a year for fetilizer maybe a little more if you need to reseed.

well lets see for $200 I could buy
400 cans of tuna
or
75 lbs of chicken

or

50lbs of whey protein

..........lol

Here's some lawn care tip that won't cost you. 1. As far as cutting keep your blade shapened it makes a cleaner cut and won't damge your grass. A dull blade can damge your grass and it could get a disease. 2. Cut early in the morning or afternoon not during the hottest time of day especially during peak summer. 3. Cut dry grass if it's moist let it dry, cutting wet grass can also damge it. 4. After summer rake up any dead grass areas, this will let the good grass spread and cover a lot of bare areas. The good grass can't spread with dead grass there. Remember healthy grass will choke out a lot of weeds.

These are a few tips that I can think of.

Shit it's starting to get hot again i hope i'm not going to have to do more reseeding.
