Your Prayers Needed
Hey bro's,

I just wanted to ask everyone to please keep Whiteknight96 and his family in your prayers. Last night his younger brother was in a very bad car accident, and is in pretty bad shape. He was a passenger with a 2 other friends, the driver lost control of the truck, took out some telephone poles and rolled the vehicle. Miraculously his brother wasnt severly hurt in the accident itself but was trapped under the truck. He had a hurt leg, but managed to free himself. He went for help and fell over the downed powerlines which he didnt see. He has burns on about 65% of his body. I just returned home from the hospital. He was just coming out of surgery when i left, they had to remove both of his arms. They managed to remove almost all of the burn tissue and apply some skin grafts to the areas to decrease his possibility of infection and sickness from the damaged tissue. He was left with a less than 1% chance of making it out of surgery, but he has made it through so far and is in better conditon than the doctors predicted, but is still in pretty bad shape. Tonight will be a rough night. They are uncertain if they will be able to save both legs, he may lose one. They will have to tell over the next few days according to the extent of the muscle damage in his legs.

This is a very rough time for him and his family. I ask you all to keep them in your prayers. I will keep you all updated on this situation. My girlfriend and i are going back to the hospital tomorrow morning.

So sorry to hear it, I will remember him in my prayers this weekend. It sounds like he is very severely burned.
 
Tell him that we wish the best of luck to his brother (and family).

Here is where we are at so far

All the burns have been removed from his body, they have removed both his arms, one at the shoulder the other above the elbow, they will also have to take atleast one of his legs, they are hoping to save the left one.

Thanks for your prayers and thoughts everyone, you have def. helped my brother this difficult time, he has 2 more surgerys this week, one on wed and one on friday. So far he is still stable and fighting hard, the doctors said he is going to get very sick from (nammonia sp?) they said its going to be very scary while he is sick, but as of right now he isn't on any anti biotics and doesn't have any infections yet, and he is off of the blood pressure medication, right now he is only on Iv's and plasma. I really appriciate you guys being there for me.

I never thought something like this would happen to me or my brother, and im not quite sure why it happened to him. He is always a happy kid and always lighted up the room and was always in good spirits and joking around with everyone. All i know is that he is fighting as hard as he can and he keeps beating the odd's against him, the doctors have been really happy with the last 2 surgerys and i can only hope the next two go the same way.

I will try and get on and update you guys as much as possible, but for now i just ask you keep him in your prayers and thoughts and try and give him as much strength as possible

Another update

He made it through another surgery yesterday they took some more muscle tissue that was dead and they got the rest of the burns off his back. He is sick now but they caught the namonia (sp?) early and are treating him with anti-biotics. He is hanging in there and still fighting strong.
