Zeitgiest

Ive seen both, pretty cool documentarys...theres a few things in there that seem to be a little far fetched but all in all there interesting documentarys to watch

i saw that for the first time around a year ago. all in all, a good 2 hours of interesting questions. some of it is a little out there. but the ideas about the monetary system, and our government were quite compelling.

unfortunatly, it leaves one wondering, what can i do?

Yep, that and what am I willing to do. Goes back to an old saying that money is the root of all evil......

I did enjoy it Scots....... Sent it to a few friends!

You can download the Torrent right from the sight for free if you don't want to order the DVDs. I did both cause I don't have a DVD burner.. I feel like I live in the stone ages. I did watch it and holy hell!!! I am pissed!! I want to show those videos to the world. Both make total sense. The wool is lifted.

I'd have to say that both of these DVDs reinforce most of the things I've believed for many years. I have to really stop myself when people get into conversations involving religeon. And I'm not going to start one here. The only thing is, the times that I have spoken my mind, and even in a nonconfrontational way, people get agrivated at my views. I don't speak down to them for believing the way they do, but they can't seem to flame me for my views. I love how the people who say they are good people are the first to start in on someone who believes differently than they do. As if it's their mission to save that person..

From what I gathered, it's not surprising, I've always had my doubts about organised religion, I just can't believe that so many people are bumb enough to fall for it. Governments will embrace it as a form of crowd control for the masses of dumb, self doubting people populating their countries. As for the 9/11 debate, I won't post what I think but the Federal Bank part, makes you wonder though. The War if Independence was to get away from King George III's dodgy money scam and here it is just as the English wanted it.
I've always suspected that there was an "Establishment" pulling the strings, looks like my thoughts have been confirmed on this one!

It is the LOVE of money.........not money in and of itself.

Yup.

There is nothing wrong with wanting money. In fact, greed on a small scale is a GOOD thing. Without greed businesses will never grow. HOWEVER, like anything in excess, too much greed can cause problems. To much of anything is usually a bad thing.

the problem is our monetary system is designed to keep us in perepetual debt.

Yes, and from what the movie says, the War of Independence was to get away from being constantly in the debt of England. The people who have the power to stop this will all have their palms greased or have so much shit hanging over their heads they won't do anything. The system is fundamentaly wrong, I'm pretty sure the same thing happens over here so don't feel like it's just an American problem, it's just on a larger scale due to the size differences between our two countries.

Yep, but I remember a movie a few years back having a phrase that goes "why should I trade one tirant three thousand miles away for three thousand tirants one mile away. This country better hope that a country as great as England purchases it's debt than a country such as Saudi Arabia. Think it can't happen, look at the USSR. Was it so long ago that people have forgotten their government failed, and they were once considered the second most powerful country in the world. America will not survive a seperation of states such as the seperation of states like Russia has done and they fight each other constantely. Just asked anyone that's has ever been to Bosnia........

I've first hand experience of Bosnia, I spent 18 months over there between Oct 95 & July 99, seperation killed a once prosperous country. The European Union is starting to expand for better strength against the U.S. economy but not all it's members have taken on the Euro so it's not as strong as it was first envisioned. If the Opec nations start selling their oil in Euros, that would be a disaster for the U.S. economy. I'm against the Euro, personally, i know a lot of Europeans whom I work with who have all reported back the same - the introduction of the Euro meant price hikes on EVERYTHING!!!
