I'm trying to get my bicep to have more of a peak in the middle of the bicep. What movement works the are of the muscle the best or do I just need to focus more on it?

The shape of your bicep is controlled by genetics so some get a peak and some don't. If anything helps you may want to try hammer curls.

That's what I have hard, hammer cruels. I've seen a few different movement with the cruel. One way is elbow at the side and raise the weight up in front the stomach or keeping the arm at the side. Does it matter?

keep arms at the side, better stretch of the facia

Genetics and being lean is your best bet to see your peaks IF you have any. If you don't have that peak-shape that mommy and daddy gave you, then you can do every so-called peaking movement in the book - concentration curls, spider curls, 90 degree preacher curls, etc etc - to no avail. Arnold, Robby and Beckles more than likely would have had the same awesome peaks had they busted ass merely on bb & db curls alone. Muscle shape is ALL genetic.
