what are you guys taking to keep your cholesterol in check?
Krill oil, oatmeal and full flush niacin.
Been using Metamucil lately and it is also supposed to hell good and bad cholesterol levels
I found a supplement that lowered my ldl from over 100 for years to 62! I highly recommend using this stuff. Especially on cycle. It?s called Citrus Bergamot Extract made by Double Wood Supplements. I got mine on Amazon.
Looks like mine for past two years till this last one. Do not let him put you on Statins! Do some research if you aren?t familiar. Stuff is horrible for your body if not poison and only reduces your chances of a heart attack by like 1%. The way they word it makes it sound like it?s actually 30% but of course the studies were conducted by the people making the drug(Lipitor/Crestor). I have watched a good amount of seminars on the subject from doctors specializing in the field and some even claim high cholesterol isn?t even a bad thing. It?s there for a reason. Imo it?s more important to raise HDL than lower ldl. But I have been having trouble doing that. Heard about this stuff and it definitely lowered my ldl. So at least my doctor is happy. They say ldl causes plaque buildup and HDL removes the plaque, in basic none scientific terms. But imo statins are not the way to go.Thanks for this, I just ordered some.
Had my lipid panel results come back after I finished my Test/Primo cycle and the results are less than desirable.
Cholesterol- 238
HDL-35
LDL-170
Triglycerides-165
Doctor said to decrease animal products and increase cardio and if remains elevated wants to start me on cholesterol lowering med.
I had blood drawn two weeks after I stopped the cycle. I will give it some time to stabilize and have it checked again

So I bought niacin recently for my pumps (I'm big on getting a good pump). But then I read the bottle and it said some babble about how "it's specially formulated to not cause flushing," and I'm like, damn, that's the whole point. I'm wondering if there's that much of a difference between the alleged non-flushing niacin and the other stuff.
Consensus seems to raise HDL:
- high doses at least 3 grams daily of Omega 3 fatty acids
- Chondroitin Sulfate
- Niacin 250 mg
Dr Morrison
______
Ashwagandha reduces LDL
Fenugreek lowers cholesterol declogs arteries
Astragalus
Bee Pollen - lowered a ladies cholesterol from 240 to 70. She told me this in person
Policosanol
Vitamin E - anticoagulant, blood thinner, helps cholesterol levels, aids in immune system modulation
Omega 3, fatty acids raise HDL cholesterol
Lutein prevents cholesterol from sticking to the walls prevents clogging
Olive oil raises HDL cholesterol -
"In another study, when 62 older adults consumed about 4 tablespoons (50 ml) of high-polyphenol extra virgin olive oil every day for six weeks, their HDL cholesterol increased by 6.5 mg/dl, on average. This is believed to be because of high antioxidants in olive oil and polyphenol content (source: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/318598.php#consume-olive-oil-)
Quercetin - reduces amount of plaque in the blood vessels by eliminating LDL cholesterol
Cayenne pepper - thins blood and improves HDL to LDL ratio, lowers both plasma cholesterol and triglycerides, strong circulatory stimulant
Ginger - lowers serum and hepatic level cholesterol, increases circulation
Garlic - reduces total serum cholesterol and lowers LDL 12 to 15 %, prevents atherosclerosis
Cinnamon - to improve insulin response and block the buildup of plaque and cholesterol in arteries and blood vessels
Reishi - protect from the effects of accumulated fatty acids and cholesterol, lowering blood lipids and fatty deposits in the liver, reduced cholesterol
Liver herbs can help lower cholesterol because the liver processes and metabolizes cholesterol. Dandelion, burdock, and Oregon grape root (Mahonia aquifolium) may be useful. Commercial formulas, sometimes marketed as “lipotropic factors,” combine such herbs with choline and inositol, two lesser-known B vitamins that are needed by the liver to process cholesterol
-----
Olive leaf extract - powerful polyphenols that help fight bad cholesterol
Elderberry - great powerful antioxidant and lowering of cholesterol levels. Good for boosting the immune system and strengthening the heart. One of the strongest home remedies for Ebola virus
NIACIN
The Mayo Clinic states that taking niacin regularly can help to significantly increase HDL levels, from 15 to 35 percent more.

"HDL is like a vacuum cleaner for cholesterol in the body. When it’s at healthy levels in your blood, it removes extra cholesterol and plaque buildup in your arteries and then sends it to your liver. Your liver expels it from your body. Ultimately, this helps reduce your risk of heart disease, heart attack, and stroke."
Ideal levels of HDL are 60 mg/dL or above

Knowledgeofhealth.com (the man who cured heart disease) - shows pictures of hearts after heart attacks in rats and the rats that were fed chondroitin after heart attack had completely normal looking heart,
The power of Chondroitin Sulfate (proven superior to anti clotting drug heparin which only lasts 5 hours vs chondroitin which last two days
Literally read Kluso's post after I posted my post above. This is 100% spot on. So right about cholesterol. Hence the Lipoprotein A connection.
At the end of the day it really is about inflammation. Real doctors (I call them O.G Doctors, like Original Gangster Doctors because they're so rare and most have died) discovered the reason the body puts cholesterol and plaque on the artierial walls in the first place is to close up or patch the abrasions in the arteries caused by free radicals, ROS, Lipoprotein A and lack of nitric oxide. These abrasions or "paper cuts" in the arteries are the source of the problem or closer to the source than most medical ideas of the cause of cardiovascular disease.
Often these abrasions or paper cuts in the arteries can be stopped with an adequate dose of Vitamin C (3 grams daily min) and L-Lysine (3-6 grams daily)
Google or better yet DuckDuckGo "lysine 6 grams daily dissolve arterial plaque" or "lysine vitamin C arterial plaque" "lysine vitamin C cardiovascular disease benefits"
So use vitamin C and lysine on any cycle and those two alone will lower your cholesterol because your body won't be putting so much in the blood stream to patch the arteries.
For nitric oxide production which is one of the most important gases in the body and for the blood vessel walls and can actively dissolve plaque and remove cholesterol I would throw in L-Arginine at 3-4 grams daily with 1 gram citrulline. The sexual benefits of this are also quite powerful. Pfizer developed Viagra one year after the book "No More Heart Disease" by Nobel Prize winner Dr Louis Ignarro where he discussed how to use
L-Arginine (mainly this)
L-Citrulline
Selenium
Vitamin C, E, D3
Folic Acid
And 20 minutes exercise 3x weekly
To cure heart disease and lower cholesterol etc
But remember, the liver is the reservoir for cholesterol and ad long as that is plugged and sludged up with sticky old viscous bile, stones, sludge and parasites you will not be able to achieve optimal levels of cholesterol.
That?s it. Great info to share man. I forgot why the ldl is there for reason. That?s exactly what I learned also. I have thought about trying Niacin. Like you mentioned in another post but there was a reason I didn?t. Don?t recall why. Do you know of any negatives associated with high niacin intake? Cause I would like to raise my HDL as well.
