Been out of the gym since may 11, and just got back this week. I had tried numerous things to prevent surgery, but to no avail, and had to have a bursa sac cut out of my shoulder blade. A lot of people ask me how I am feeling. Thought I would keep track of my progress.
Week 1 down. Damn it feels good to be back in the gym. My strength is insanely low, and I am not putting up nearly as much as I used to . But I am putting weight up, which is an improvement from not being able to do it at all. My sleep has improved as well. I forgot how much better I slept when I was lifting.
The bench was the ultimate test to see if I was better. There used to be a fuckload of pain when I was benching. NO PAIN WHATSOEVER
It feels good to be back in the swing of things again. Hopefully in a few months I will be back to the weight I used lift.
