Diet reality check

ok i suck at this because its ME so i need someone to look at this and kick my ass.. i have been doing badly with my diet lately.. my cals are down.. protein is down all that shit.. im falling back into the omg the scale is moving...must make it stop... mind set.. here is my planned diet today.. its off.. i cant get my fats up.. wtf should i do lol im trying to keep this as clean a bulk as humanly possible and im having a fats mental block.. help!

Protein- 215.6
Fat- 49.5
Carbs- 73.5
Fiber- 12.0

Meal 1
Oatmeal
? cup- 150 cal, 5g protein, 3g fat, 27g carbs
Protein
1 scoop ? 160 cal, 26g protein, 2g fat, 3g carbs
Eggs
1 whole egg 70 cal, 6g protein, 4.5g fat, 1g carbs

Meal 2
Chicken breast
1 breast (5.4oz) 140 cal 32g protein, 1.5g fat
Nuts
.5oz Raw almonds 85 cal, 3.5g protein, 7.5g fat, 2.5g carbs

Meal 3
Eggs
2 whole eggs 140 cal, 12g protein, 9g fat. 2g carbs
2 egg whites 50 cal, 10g protein, .5g fat
Chicken
2oz 42 cals 9.6g protein, .5g fat

Meal 4
Oatmeal
? cup- 150 cal, 5g protein, 3g fat, 27g carbs

increase your carbs just a bit in those meals you gonna be active afterwards such as breakfast ,pre and post workout..leave the the other carbless and just eat your protein with healthy fats like u have been doing.

you can go for a whole cup of aotmeal for breakfast instead of 1/2 and i have no idea whats your pre-and post workout meals but if u gonna add cals ( carbs) make sure are those 2.
 
meal 5 is preworkout and the shake is post work out.. sometimes ill have eggs instead of a shake if im doing something like legs that day. today is an off day except for 30-45min of cardio ad maybe some abs so its gonna just be the shake. i have a real issue eating after i train.. im completely not hungry and i have to force myself to get anything down. same thing goes for when i first wake up.. been doing it but it keeps me full for hours (the 1/2 cup of oats)
 
well, if u have issues eating around those times youre fucked then.
 
i have issues eatig in general lol i AM eating it has however made me start literally counting down til my cut lol 24 more days lol
 
my advices would be worthless if u have issues eating the right foods at the right times..god bless your soul..:D
 
If you have issues eating, then just make more shakes using foods. Eggs and oatmeal in a shake goes down ok, tuna does not :)

You also mention trouble getting extra fats. Just eat salmon, pb, and pop omega3 tabs all day.
 
the eggs oatmeal and protein mixed with a packet of equal and a little water in the microwave taste awesome btw so i dont have issues eating that... its just that my body seems to hate carbs so i feel insanely full for HOURS off that meal

A half cup of oatmeal leaves you feeling like that? Try some k-r-ala with it and sesamin to keep insulin in check. That much oatmeal should not be spiking insulin though.

VPX makes a good zero impact mrp where the carbs are blended down into powder, so it's less filling.

Can you elaborate on your egg, oatmeal, protein mix? I am having a hell of a time getting down oatmeal in any healthy way and am looking for some key thing to make it taste good.
 
i put 1/2 cup of oatmeal in a microwave safe bowl then 1 scoop of vanilla protein 2 packets of equal a couple shakes of cinnamon, 1 whole egg (egg beaters work too) and if you need efas put a tb of natty pb.. add a little water.. mix it all up and stick it in the microwave. my microwave is alittlwe gimp and takes 1:30. i hated oatmeal.. til i mixed it like this and now its awesome.. i am on a low carb cut and THIS is my only direct carb source all day. i just cut the pb and use egg beaters instead now

def a fan of the food shakes...esp when trying to force down more calories.

I can vouch for the tuna not going down well...neither do green beans...:worried:

Ok, I am editing this for this morning so I don't double post....

I tried the oatmeal receipe but I didn't have everything you used exactly. Here is what I could come up with....

1. 1/2 cup of oats
2. 1 scoop of Chocolate Protein (isopure)
3. 1 tablespoon of peanut butter
4. 2 teaspoons of cinammon
5. 2 teaspoons of splenda
6. 1 egg
7. 1/4 cup of water

I'd have to say it was a little on the dry side and it didn't taste as good as I thought, however it was way better than eating straight oats and much more nutritious.

I think mine didn't taste as good as yours because I used chocolate protein instead of vanilla, plus the peanut butter taste was really strong. I almost want to take that mixture and bake it into a bar or something. Ever thought of doing something like that?

In any case, thanks for the receipe....I will be eating this alot. +1 for sadie guys.
 
oh god it tastes pretty nasty with chocolate hehe it is 100xs better with vanilla.. if its alittle dry add more water or cook it alittle less.. i like it a little wetter personally its all about preference

I know you are pretty concerned with proteins and how they taste, which one are you using with your oats?
 
i use either body fortress (vanilla) or optimum nutrition(gold vanilla ice cream). i am about to try out trueprotein so i can get a carb free one that doesnt taste gross hehe
 
Are you guys blending this up or just eating it like regular oatmeal. I load mine up in a cup and dip a hand blender in it.
