I'm tired of doing shrugs with his bar on his flat bench, tired of his half assed lift off and screwing my bench set up, and friggin tired of personal training him without getting paid!
he just has to push 315lbs no matter what when he cant even do one full reps(does top 1/4 reps and it needs my hand on the bar). seeing him BB row is even funnier because it looks like high pulls. only thing he cant try to match my weight is deadlift because the bar aint moving lol. and no he wont do legs with me.
he is a boxer with good power but he aint no BB or lifter, and to think he can match me in just couple of years of training didnt sit right with me. I can tell his motive is all about outlifting me in all the lifts, even if it means cheating and doing 1/4 reps, typical boxer mentality...
I told him I'm gonna train alone because I'm changing split and I cant focus training with him. it sucks because we have another dude that kinda joined us later who's a real good trainer. eventually he'll see us training together without him, and he'll get the clue.
rant over! had first great chest pump today in a long time!

The last good training partner I had died. We only trained legs together. He was 20 years older than me and we had pretty much equal strength. I miss him.

I've trained with member Daniels here and he's alot stronger then I but we kinda talk like two little middle school girls through the whole thing. He moved. I'll miss him.

But others.... Meh fuck em

It's hard for me to find a lifting partner. I find it is difficult to find anyone that can stay committed.

Training partners are very difficult to find but if your lucky enough to find one that lifts like your then your set of not your stuck like me just asking for a spot from time to time at the gym...

I train alone, haven't had good lucks with training partners in the past.

I've been training alone for years. Wouldn't have it any other way. Although there are times I wish I had someone to hold me accountable. It's so easy to skip leg training without a training partner.

No luck with training partners in the past minus one. Actually the one has been my best friend for years. Otherwise no luck with em.

This guy has a couple of screws loose. Probably a good idea to ditch him. Before I moved last year I had a got training partner who was a great BBer and close to my age. Also two big really cool black dudes would fill in sometimes. all of them were strong and bigger than me and I and got stronger and gained good mass. We had beers together every couple weeks and a couple of us went to a hockey game. It was a lot of fun. A lot of laughs and a lot of gains for all. He refused to accept my low dosing strategy. The black dudes were natural. One was an immigrant from Africa where he was a pro basketball player. Best group of guys to train with in a long while.

I've had a couple training partners like that before - always trying to use the same weight as me. However, I would get them straight quick telling them they needed to get x-amount of reps on their own, no forced rep shit from jump. That cleared it up quick haha.

One of my best partners was back in the early-mid 90's in VA. Johnny was 2 years younger than me, about 5'10, 275 and very bulky, and I was 235-240 and leaner, but him and I were very close on strength levels which made convenient for not always taking plates on and off. I can rarely say this, but his intensity level was as high as mine. We had some of the most killa workouts I've ever had. I remember the time we were doing drop sets on hack squats, and he pushed it so hard that he popped a blood vessel in his eye and his damn eyeball immediately turned red. He went to the doc, doc told him to lay off the weights for 2 weeks - he was back in the gym 2 days later ready to kill it again haha! We were both natty, yet bigger than most juiceheads in the gym and throwing around as much weight. Dude was a crazy Raida fan, a southern boy from N.C that loved Lynyrd Skynyrd, barbecues and getting shit faced haha. But damn he brought it to the gym. I really miss that guy - tried to find him on FB over the years with no luck. Big crazy mofo.

I'm not that bad of a training partner Rocky ;) lol

I need a motivated female partner. Could never find one that has the same goals or are as dedicated. Girls that are repping single digit dumbbells aint cutting it for me!

Some women just don't realize how strong that they actually can become. I actually prefer having a motivated female as a training partner.

^^^^LOL you make a lot of guys feel bad about themselves in the gym hahaha!

I train alone. Ever since getting out of the military I haven't been able to connect with anyone.

I agree! I think it's a lack of knowledge. They have this misconception that lifting heavy will make them bulky. There are so many benefits that come along with it, what woman doesn't want curves!?

That's what I tell them!
