How do you know if you've reached your "genetic" potential? Theoretically you can always get a little stronger and gain more weight. How do you determine that it would be more advantageous than detrimental to your growth to scientifically enhance. There isn't a chart that says at this height and build you can get this big. I mean there's the doctors chart but that isn't based in muscular reality because by those charts I've been obese for years. So any thoughts?

I think that you have to have spent at least a few years in the gym and have had a good diet during that time and been on a plateau for awhile.

I added the age thing so a 18 whose been liftin' a couple years doesn't think he's ready.

i agree it's different from person to person.. but still think it will take someone a couple years to hit it overall

If anyone wouldn't mind giving their stats (Height, Weight, age) when they first crossed over to the dark side. I'm simply curious at seeing if there's any average. Even though I'm sure availability has a lot to do with it as well.

Well I started way to early with only a couple years under my belt. No knowledge and in my teens. This was years a go and regret it to this day. I can't remember stats but maybe 5'10 180
