then i go to bed.

i knocked off some body fat fast as hell with this diet. but it seems im not moving anymore. im growing due to my high protein intake as well as my test/EQ stack but not leaning much anymore.
my most intelligent guess is that i need to adjust my carbs bc i know this is a super low carb diet. but im not sure what/how to do it. can someone who has experience with this please advise me?.....keep in mind im not even half way through my cycle. been runnin since New Years and plan to stay on til June 1st.

You need carbs to grow period. Your workouts will also suffer from a long term diet like that, as your carbs are soooo low. If you want to help maintain leaness and still grow, add in your carbs for your earlier meals in the day, like rice, sweet potatoes, baked potatoes, pasta, oatmeal or beans(yes beans...the unheard of food in the bb game which is loaded with carbs, fiber and protein...under-rated fosho). Then gradually lessen them as the day goes on. One thing...you aren't even getting in any soild food carbs pw. You WANT that. That tilapia meal should include some carbs. Yeah I know its a later meal in the day, but assuming you can't change your workout time to an earlier time, I think the priority of having solid food carbs pw is more important than the no carbs gig late in the day. Pw is a window you wanna take advantage of dude. ;)

p.s...This is all assuming you aren't prepping for a show. Last I remember, you wanted to get jacked for "the beach" lol. :p Assuming that, then yes, up your carbs and grow...don't waste your cycle of aas with such low carbs brutha. ;)

Cut the juice and PB. A few more quality carbs isn't a bad idea either. Increase energy expenditure a bit.

thank u guys, i thought this was gonna be a ghost thread for a minute there lol. DPH, thanks for the detailed info man. thats exactly what i was lookin for. however, answer me this: i have been droppin body fat and growin on this diet, if i throw in all the carbs is it gonna stop my bf loss and just add mass at the bf% im at now? im not trainin for a show but im tryin to get to 7-8% by mid May. im right at 10% now....

Lifts, i KNEW u would say drop the PB lol...i hate u for that, since i look forward to that 2 tblspoons of joy everyday lol but i know u are right. gonna scratch that off the grocery list. thanks for ur input btw bro! :)

In your intitial thread you indicated that you stopped growing. Now you say that - in bold above. If you are growing and losing fat, then don't change SHIT! To do that is very hard..very rare unless one is a complete n00b to the iron, which you are not. But even if you DO stop growing, you have to decide which goal is more important, the mass or the 7% bf. You're not gonna bulk AND cut dude.lol If achieving both simultaneously were so easy, we would have 300 lb/5% freaks everywhere. If 7% is your goal, then go for it, and be happy to MAINTAIN as much muscle as possible while doing so. ;)

Btw, if you meant that the diet was working BEFORE and the muscle gains have slowed as you lose increasingly more fat, thats normal. You are not going to keep gaining muscle at the same rate as you get leaner and leaner. However bb is all about illusion, so you will LOOK bigger at 7% as you will be more cut. So just trash your scale and quit sweating it. :D

dude i noticed what i said after i posted it...shoulda corrected myself but u called it....it "was" workin like crazy...now losing bf is slackin off a little. like i said, i got to 10% but i wanna be at 7% but i need to grow too. being that it is only february ya think i have time to "bulk" for like a month and then still get to 7% by mid may or June?

a friend of mine said i should try goin all out potatoes in the a.m. for like 3-4 days straight every 7 days. he said this would keep my body confused but yet i would be able to add "some" mass while maintaining the "leanness". what do u think?

The bf slowing is normal. Like I said before, you are NOT going to keep growing at the same rate when you are closing in on sub 10% bf. Most use AAS to maintain as much as possible when trying to get very lean. If what you are doing works, dont try to fix it. If you wish to add more carbs early, do it gradually and not overnight. Then use the mirror to gauge your condition and adjust accordingly bro. :)

ok i gotcha hank, thanks for the advice again bro! im gonna try this and see what happens

is this the first time you have been on a real diet?
if so you might not need to change anything, the slugishness you feel could be your body just getting used to the change

well its the 1st time ive taken a diet seriously...i dont really feel "sluggish"...i just dont seem to be losing bf as fast as i was at 1st. i just wasnt sure if it was time to mix things up or what. but im kinda thinkin DPH gave me some good info, plus if im around 10% and i throw in a few extra carbs around my workout and it helps me 2 add some lean mass then that should in turn drop my bf% as long as i dont pick up any fat....right? i mean if u weigh 240lbs and u are 10% bf and u add 5-10lbs of "lean mass" thats puts u at 250 or so then ur bf% should acttually come down slightly shouldnt it?......10% of 240 is 24lbs. 24lbs of fat on a 250lb guy is less than 10%bf.
