Looks like your doing good on your workouts. Try to keep the intensity up if you can. I seen where you said you lighted up the load on some of your sets. Only do that if you have to. Maintaining a "heavy" to "moderate" workout will keep them muslce full and hard

10 more days....

mpresiv....I did cut back the weight on some exercises, but it was still a heavy workout. I don't know how to work out lightly..lol..I guess I should keep the same weight as before and straight set it? Like you are supposed to with DC training!

So are you straight setting things now?

Nope, not yet. I only wrote that last night after my last workout. I am still beating the logbook with some things. What should I do- jusat forget it and straight set everything? And do I only do 1 set? How does that work future?

I personally would but then again I know nothing about contest prep either.

But yes do 1 set. I would push a tad higher in the reps...but like I said I dont know anything about contest prep.

Thanks future...you don't need to know anything about contest prep. Training is training really. No big differences if you are preparing for a contest or not. Contest prep is all about the diet and cardio. Thanks

IG, I was mainly talking about your training as a whole. I wasnt sure on how far out you were on your contest prep. Perspective wise, I like to keep my training for contests the same as my offseason workouts. I dont like to drop the load any. IMO it keeps those muscles full and hard. This is just my opinion though, feel free to get other advise. I learned my lesson on giving advice to people a long time ago....lol.

mpresiv, I appreciate the advice believe me :) I was just thinking that, being less than 2 weeks out, and knowing that I could not beat the logbook using the same weight for some exercises, I dropped it back a little. What I should have done is used the same wieght and just straight setted it. I guess I used that as an excuse to be a bit lazy...and that' s not like me in the gym.

So 9 more day huh? Way to stick to it and not to give up. Great job so far!

Thanks LM. I have to say that the cardio is getting to be a real bitch. This morning was pure torture. I had to pull every trick out of the book to get me through..lol..

Closest i get to cardio is working my bag :flute: I give a lot of credit to people who can run for 30min. I would just die!

I was always really lean. Till last couple years ago I was like 160@5'11" .Now that skinny. These days I'm around 184lbs. Would like to gain about 10lbs. more of lean mass maybe by next summer, but I don't mind 184. I need to be fast for my MA training.

So what do you do for cardio?Sorry, I didn't read last 12 pages :D

LMAO...no prob. I use the stepper and bike. My trainer wanted me to do those where I am trying to lean out my legs and keep their size down. Lately I use the elliptical occasionally. Just to give my knees a little break. I walk outdoors on weekend mornings when our gym is closed. I cannot run- my knees are far too bad for that.

Trained bi's, forearms and legs tonight. Too tired to write it all out..lol...here's a couple pics from the gym

i dont know much about critiquing female physiques, so i may be wrong or out-of-line with this, but to me, it appears that your bis are slightly overpowering your tris. just my .02 cents....take it or leave it...

Wow, thanks guys!! I really appreciate it :) g4e, you're a doll :smooch:

Well I imagine that critiquing a female is really no different than critiquing a male. I appreciate the comment. My tri's do suck, I know.

Well the cardio is really starting to get hard now I have to say. And it's weird- I just can't seem to get my heart rate up enough using the stepper. Well I could, if I go up to level 15 or so, but I just can't do it, it's killing me. So it's gonna be the bike and elliptical I guess until I'm done. Only 6 more days of cardio- thank god!!!!

You are looking amazing!

Great biceps, back, abs are looking good...

The thickness in your spinal erectors (lower back) is just amazing to me.

Nice work!!
