Guys how do you keep a record of lifts/sets/reps etc
Years ago i used a PDA, it took along time but it worked.
ive also used a book and written it out in the gym.. another pain in the ass!

But now I use my iphone with an APP called fitness buddy. its damn awesome. you put in your custom exercises and everything you lifted that day is easily accessible. you should check it out

Also keen on seeing how you guys go about it, I have a good memory but not good enough to reember all weights ive done.

same here.i just threw out one of my old ones from 07.got all wet.i usually bring a small spiral notebook with me to the gym and transfer the info on a larger one at the end of the week.this way i can add more notes to each page:how i felt,good/bad workout, trained solo...etc.

I write it down in a note book when I get home from the gym. And yes, even at my advanced age i can still remember my training sessions.

i can say the best shape i've been in my life i was using a log. I keep meaning to do it but just keep forgetting. Vult posted up a log page to print out over @ S-P. Might check the app out, but i have trouble typing on a touch phone let alone when im shaking like crazy after lifting lol

I use a notebook also.. Just a lot easier for me plus I log the wifes progress to and once it's full I can put it up and that way if the computer or phones gets messed up I still have my log charted so I can go back and look at even years later..

I have never written it down and logged my workout , I sometimes may run a cycle log online in a thread but never ever write my exact workout weights and reps etc etc down on paper . When I go to the gym ,its to lift and lift heavy till I sweat and cant pick up my own arms or move my legs ..I just never have been able to justify the time loss to document my workouts , However I see alot of people doing it between sets or reps I just choose not to .

I don't log my workouts, but perhaps it might help me. It just seems like a lot of work when I can easily remember what I did last. Maybe it is psychological and will help push to the next level tho.
