You guys got any advice on how to tighten up a lil loose skin round the stomach?

what is good tummy tuck or liposuction for loose belly from weight loss?

how bad is it? how much weight did you lose? how long has your weight been stable... it can take 3-6 months up to a yr for skin to tighten after drastic weight loss.... if after a year its still lose look into a partial tummy tuck

Tech term: Abdominoplasty or the Tummy Tuck. It is the only way to rid excess loose skin on the addominal area. If you are to bend or lean over, anything that you can pull from your waist working towards the hip will prob have to go. If you have just distended muscles, even after you hit abs but nothing works, there is endoscopic abdominoplasty as well that tightens the muscles and abdominal wall. You shouldnt use the abdominoplasty as a method for loosing weight, but for loose skin that you get rid of. You should be at or very near your goal weight and bf mass index b4 you do the surgery.

very true except that if he didnt lose ALOT of weight and it isnt hanging (i.e the elasticity is still in tact even a little) then it can and should retract naturally given time... trust me on this im the house expert i think lol... even my fucked up skin did retract some.. just not enough which is why i had surgery.. i also lost 170lbs in like 7 months so i pretty much earned needing surgery..

^just being general talking about the tummytuck. dont know if he needs it or not. If he isnt at his goal weight its useless to even think about it, and your right Sadie.

I only lost bout 35lbs and 2 1/2" off my waist about 6 months ago. So it wasn't anything as drastic as what you lost

You'll be ok, I thought I needed it too. Went from 24% to about 10% right in six months. Lost 9 inches off the waist and its tightening up fine. It looked very loose as I was losing it but we don't give our bodies enough credit sometimes. And yes, I got abs and the skin seems to be tightening nice. In many parts of my body I got the onion skin with huge veins popping out already, I would have never thought. Worst case scenario, finance a partial abdominaplasty (tummy tuck) it's easy and cheap in most states.

cough.. told you so.. cough...

Best way to tell is..now dont take this a gay way, but get on your hands and knees and look at your ab area and see if you see anything hanging..and not your privates, lol If you see loose skin (kinda will look doughish) then it prob wont/cant be fixed by diet or supplements. Most ppl you can even tell they have loose skin there unless they do that or in a woman's case.
