You wanna talk about crazy - saying a boxer is OLD when he is 29 is RIDICULOUS on most accounts. You must be talking the talk of back in the 50's to say that. Most fighters are a shitload better at 30 than 20 because of gained experience and knowledge. Barrera & Morales was the guys to beat back then and anybody that knows boxing knows that. Sure they both had wars, but reaching so far to say they were not on their A-game, and worse yet, saying they were done is a JOKE. Barrera was on the best pound for pound list at the time. Prince Naseem was the talk of boxing back then and Barrera took him to school - that was 2 years before he fought Pac. In the prior year to fighting Pac, Barrera also beat Morales and Tapia. He didn't fight Rocky Jaurez until THREE years AFTER he fought Pac - not even an argument to bring up.
To keep using Marquez as some type of barometer as to what Floyd will be able to do is ludicrous. First and foremost, styles make fights - they are different fighters. Anybody knows that. Secondly, Pac was a one-handed fighter back then and his defense was lacking. Roach has turned him into a two-handed fighter and his D is much better. Comparing Pac as a fighter now to what he was back then in the Morales & Marquez days, or worse yet, when he was a flyweight is, well - a JOKE.
You apparently forgot that Pac fought Marquez at featherweight & super-featherweight before, because you didn't mention that not only Floyd will be bigger, but Pac also. Pac has proved he has brought the power with him in the heavier division with his ass whippings of Margarito, Cotto, Hatton, Shane, etc. He has lost no speed, and proved he can take big shots from the heavy hitters. I literally see him walking through Floyd with no problems - seriously.
