I need to start adding a little variety of foods to my diet. After a while of eating the same thing, things just get old and harder to eat. Post up your favorite meal of the week (healthy), maybe I'm missing something I didn't think about before:headbange

ha, I still eat the same stuff I have for yrs, my eating is so boring, but you know what? it makes life easier for me, I can go grocery shopping in 20 minutes, cause I buy the same stuff every week. Anything to make life simpler
I am still eating mainly, oats, tuna, chicken, ground beef, eggs, whey, cottage cheese, very little fruit, and I mean very sparingly, some wheat bread, and some yougurt.

pretty much same stuff day in and day out

yea, but how do you prepare it? You just eat it like that or wha lol?

oats and whey are mixed for breakfast
tuna I either mix it with mayo, ranch or hot sauce, and sometimes I make wraps with it, I buy these high fiber wraps, throw in a slice of FF cheese, scoop in the tuna and wrap it up, quick 3 minute meal

for ground beef I normally buy sugar free pasta sauce mix that with it and put on top of whole wheat pasta

chicken I just eat with green veggies, (salad, green beans, broccoli, etc) or dice it up and cook it with rice, throw some sauces on it and make it chinese style....lol

eggs, normally one or two whole eggs then several whites, scrammbled and eat with oats or whole wheat toast.

cottage cheese I mix in whey for a late night snack......

....etc.......be creative, a lot of spices and sauces out there that are low sugar, carb free, fat free, or something that is basically harmless :)

well first buy a whole bag of reeses cups and eat it. I find that to be a good meal. Also a half gallon of chocolate ice cream is a good meal too

I used to like ground turkey. Cut up an onion and fry it up with a pound of ground turkey. Then throw in some carribean jerk marrinade

Tuna I just mix with miracle whip

steak. Pick your way to prepare it. Sometimes I like to soak it in steak sauce for a day or two. Other times I just throw some seasoning salt on it

tuna i always mix with mustart... i hate mayo. it actually mixes welll with mustard thou.

usually ill take some chicken, tomatoes, broccoli, spinach, garlic, spices, etc etc etc and throw in some tomato sauce for a base, then heat it up on a frying pan (covered) for about 20 mins on med to med-low heat. solid meal and pretty damn healthy. it also curbs my carb cravings and allows me to skip pasta's and other heavy carb sources late at night.

Hey man, I try all sorts of things to add variety. I usually have brown rice and pasta in my weekly, if not daily diet. In the spice aisle you can find many packets of sauces and gravies to add to meat/chicken to make them different. I was out of ideas last night and took tomato sauce, onion, red wine vinegar, pepper and honey and added some chicken stock and made a nice sauce, reminiscent of a Burgundy Sauce which I poured over chicken and served on toast. But I love to mess around in the kitchen.

Marinades, dry rubs, gravy, and sauces can spice up many meals. One of my favorites is to cook chicken and cube it. Layer it on cooked rice and brocolli in a baking dish, cover it with a mixture of plain yogurt and curry powder top with bread crumbs and/or grated parmesan, and bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.

I use my nonstick pan to sautee chicken with peppers, onions, garlic and mushrooms. Add some herbs and little chicken broth for juices. I pour it over Quinoa which has a lot of protein. I'll also have a bit of fruit with it for my sweet tooth.

The next day I may have a turkey sandwich on multigrain bread with pickles or a couple of olives.

I found a great recipe for cottage cheese cuz I don't like it plain. I'll either mix it with salsa and dip cuke rounds in it, or mist it with plain yogurt, dill or taragon. Then I'll halve and hollow out a cuke and fill it with the cottage cheese misture. yummy!

Ostrich fillet with red red potatos baked in a bit of olive oil and rosemary with a fiberous veggie.

Brown rice pasta (way better than whole wheat in my opinion) with veggie sauce and 96% lean ground beef meatball

Brown rice pasta with shrimp, olive oil, lemon juice, spices, and sliced peppers and onions

Organic black corn chips (only the corn and oil, no other crap added), diced up chicken breast, diced various peppers and onions, salsa and fat free sour cream to make yummy healthy nachos

Oh I have tons of ideas. I'm such a picky eater so I'm pretty creative in order to eat healthy.
