My calves are lagging

I don't supervise anyone I sit in a truck, sleep a lot, put some pipe together when needed. If anyone followed my lead nothing would get done.

Every once in a while I join a conference call so people hear my voice and it reminds them that I work here.
 
Jeeze man even when either one of you guys even starts a serious thread it turns into a bunch of meaningless dribble...lol That said, if you can find one, a donkey calf raise machine worked wonders for my calves. If you cant find a machine bend over with your feet hanging off of a riser and have somebody sit on your back. That works em good!!

You see darkness and I share a brain. I'm the muscular mean one he is the pretty one. So our dribble only makes sense to us. And I didn't need another "is ozzy ghey" thread.
 
Have you REALLY busted ass on calves for an extended period of time? Have you tried both high volume and low volume? Have you tried both high frequency and low frequency? Have you tried both full ROM with excellent form with mediocre weights and also short ROM, bouncy reps with the heaviest weights possible? If so, then you may just be doomed by the calf-genetic-demons sorry to say.

Calves are funny - they are THEE most genetically-determined bdpt of any. I say that bcoz I have seen guys who never even worked out, yet had calves that could hold their own on an Olympia stage. You can't say that about any other bdpt. I remember this dude I used to work with - Gary. Never touched a weight. Guy looked to be about 6'2 and weigh maybe around 220-230. His fucking calves were insane - looked to be at least 19-20" and sliced with veins.

On the flipside you have guys like Robby Robinson back in the day or Dennis Wolf these days. How fucked up is it when you have a physique that is Mr. O material only to be held back by puny 15" calves even though you bust your ass day in and day out for years/decades to no avail. :eek:

And so it's clarified my calves are 18 inches so are my biceps. I'm a big believer in symmetry and making things flow together equally.

My try lagging body part are my inner quads for some reason the older I get the harder it gets to maintain my inner sweep

so you have thigh gap?:D
I've been doing dorsi flexion after every set of calf raises, followed by heel stretches. it seems to enhance pump and give that popped out look. plus I've been doing donkey calf raises on smith machine and I feel its the best calf exercise there is.
