How many times a week do you workout? How long are your workouts? How many breaks a year do you take?
MG how you been..
Right now just cardio and light stuff but moving up in pds. though starting this next week. I'm working out everyday now trying to get back in shape.
I work out every other day and then I do cardio on my off days.
2-2.5 hrs per workout.
No breaks.
I don?t talk to anyone at my gym.
They?re a buncha walking talking distractions I don?t need at the time.
I find a good mix of strength and endurance training has kept my b/f% the same as it was in my mid twenties.
Also, I focus more on reps than going heavy these days.
I go 3 days a week taking a day off between training days, 1 1/2 to 2 hours each day. I don't schedule any breaks throughout the year but I keep a good balance.
I've tried to take a week off over the last few years but I never make the whole week:

I am 71. Currently try to train with weights 4 to 5 days a week, rotating different body parts. Not doing legs much currently because of lower spine issues (I like squats but hate leg presses). I try to get cardio 4 to 5 days a week alsol.
I still go 5-6 days a week. I am limited with my back and my legs but the rest of me is killing it. I usually train for 60-90 minutes, My off day is whenever I feel like it. I don’t set a scheduled day.
Right now I am cutting and I am down to 280 and got my abs back. My training is high volume and low weight and I don’t rest. I usually do 15 min of fasted low impact cardio and then move to the weights. Right now I am doing a crazy amount of reps with low weight and I am leaning out real nice. I got maybe 2-3 more weeks and then I will up my protein and calories again and put some heavy weights back on.
Most people think I am lifting heavy but they don’t have any idea what I used to lift so for me, it isn’t as heavy as it used to be.
I will be 50 in November
