help keep me motovated. I work out at home on a few good weight sets. But its hard to keep up.

for me, i had to start hitting the gym again even though I have a good setup at home.

just be inventive with your training....mix it up to keep fresh

I worked out at home for about 8 months, had some good equipment to, all free weights...But it is hard to stay motiviated and not just go through the motions at home, at least it was for me.....Try putting up mirrors if you have not, that helps....If that does not work put towels on your benches and work out butt ass naked....Worked for me for about a month, but even that got old as hard as that is to believe....

In these times with access to all the media we have, vids, dvds, youtube, etc...getting motivated is much easier than some of us older niggas had in decades past. It used to be just thumbing through a Muscle Builder mag pre-workout and scoping Arnies chest or arms routine and listening to some killa tunes. But good Lord, with ALLL the shit ya got nowdays, its easy! Shit man just check out some of the kick ass vids on youtube of Yates, Coleman, Kev kicking it' heavy...if that dont do it nuttin' will! :D

P.S - It seems that "self visualization" has become a lost concept with many n00bs or younger bros. How many guys you know that just walks into the gym nonchalantly without ANY pre-workout-mind prep? I guarantee ANYONE will get a better workout, push more weight, kick it harder if you simply visualize for 20-30 mins what your gonna do BEFORE you get there! I can't even remember the last time I kicked it without prepping the mind first. Give it a try...you will surprise yourself. ;)

Old school shit you gotta love it!!!

Gotta keep YOURSELF motivated! Of course the motivation can come from outside yourself but find it and use it.

Music, magazines, videos, things wrote down that you can read and will inspire you. Go through your workout many times in your head before even doing the actual workout. Pre workout food and drinks that make you feel tight and strong. Use as many motivating factors that work for you but make sure you take advantage of them.
