Monday is leg day for me. Squatting, working up feeling good, 415lbs...go down well below parallel, easy, feeling good feeling strong, rep 1...rep 2, go down, start up POP..freeze..wtf start to continue and realize this isn't good...had the safety stops set so I get out from under it, sit, take off my belt the guy in the next rack says you alright..I say I don't know, I either tore or broke something. I felt the pop go through me. Hobbled to locker room, wrapped it as tight as I could with the knee wraps I had in my bag. Got my stuff and got on the Harley and went home...was very shaky ride home shifting was pure klutz. Took wraps off iced it off & on 20 minutes each all night. Had a pain killer from my back injury last fall, took that and went to bed. Went to urgent care this morning...thankfully just a bad tear the doc said, gave me a shot, meds , crutches. hurts like a biotch to even touch the outside of my left quad hip to knee. Looks like I'll be hitting the circuit machines for a couple weeks and won't be catching any fastpitch for a while. UGH! I was just getting back and in a rhythm from the herniated discs last winter.
