Critical Mass

Since the split, I decided to go my own way. I joined a board. A nice board. After a couple of years, I became a super mod there. I'm still training people at my home gym. I'm still working out as heavy as I can. and...... I've learned that some people still dont get it.

A mod's job is not easy. You get tired of banning spammers and trolls. You get tired of seeing the same damn type of threads. "what to take to get big?," "Can I gain mass and lose fat at the same time?".... hamma hamma hamma. Whatever man. You want to just start banning dumbasses who ask stupid questions.

The main thing I've learned is this....... The exercises and meals that Arnold, Draper, Corney, Big Lou, and Franco took are still the same exercises and meals that work for todays lifter. Over and over again, I see people wanting to know that "secret" supp. or exercise. Fuck it. Lift heavy, eat big,...... repeat.

The heavy ass weight that Hank was lifting in 2006 is the same weight YOU need to lift in 2011 if you are going to gain muscle. Fuck a shake weight. Fuck a p90x routine. Lift weight!

I've been training people in the gym. I've been showing them basic, compound exercises that build strength, muscle, and burn calories with the right diet program. I've helped people get their diet right to lose many, many pounds. I've helped steer unsuspecting victims of supp. companies away from bunk "man in a can." I've taught people how to fight, increase their sex performance, sex appeal, and personal confidence. I've also helped steer young men in the right direction when it comes to chemical enhancement. Wow, people really don't know how this stuff is supposed to work!

Stay true to the old ways..... they still work. The Vets of THIS board showed me the way for the last six years. They are legit.

Most trainers in gyms these days are a joke, they have people doing 10lb dumbbell presses while trying to balance on a swiss ball. All this shit about core training is just more bullshit. Stick with the basic lifts and work hard and heavy and you will have solid core strength.

biggest joke is this old woman in the gym by me is talking about how her muscles hurt she can barely get out of bed for 2 days and she has the take aspirin. I ask her what she is doing she tells me an hour of cardio then she trains weights. Keep in mind she pay $75 a session for this lol

Good post CM. So true. No magic, just hard work...but most don't have the guts to do that year in and year out. Gotta love this game! :D

Btw, good to see ya back brutha! :igok:

This is a good post, IMO, it should be made a sticky, but that's not up to me.
The answers to this game are simple, the effort isn't but if you take the time and put in the effort, the results will come. Simple!

half of them look like shit too, and really don't even know what they're doing half the time. I definitely would not be paying some out of shape asshole to train me, if he can't even practice what he preaches.
