under bodybuilding book you should difinately have the encyclopedia of bodybuilding by arnold schwarzennegger. it is the best book for body building one can get, especialy a beginner to intermediate.
alot of people I talk to criticize the workouts given by schwarzenegger in his book, especially the beginner stuff, I tried this years ago and felt really burnt out, talked to a few friends and they said forget the work load he recommends in the book, its way too much in a 5 day week for a beginner or even intermediate
