A broken work out turned into one of the most intense leg sessions in a while.
I went to my local Y to do squats. There was this young gun doing shrugs on the squat rack. I was pissed so I walked away before I did something stupid.
Went to leg extension machine maxxed it out and repped my brains out. By the 3rd set I could feel my legs about to expolde. Did 5 sets total.
Then hit Leg curls machine, maxxed it to the most weight it had, and started repping. After 2nd set my hams were throbbing from all of the blood in them. Did 5 sets.
Then went to do squats, the kid was gone. Put 315 on bar to warm up and pulled it off the rack, said screw it. I don't want to do this. Went to leg press machine. It already had 720 on it, so I loaded it to 1080 and repped, and repped and repped. Wound up doing about 7 sets. Last 2 stripped weight off. Also did calves after each set on press machine.
Whole session took about 45 minutes. I was so pumped I thought my shorts would pop at any minute.
Anyone else been messed up on your plans but it turned out great?
