Here's a couple of pics for you. I took a bunch and I hate them all. NONE of them do me any justice at all....

LMAO...thanks...but notice that my hand covers everything :( moving it would be a disappointment, believe me!! Oh well, I can't be ripped and have boobs too :)
 
Well g4e, things are going well. I'm strong in the gym, cardio is fine. I'm leaner everyday. I have to practice my posing more and get a routine. I have my song done- Five to One by Marilyn Manson. It's a Doors tune, pretty cool I think.

Today is a cardio day- done outside cause our gym sucks and it's closed until Tuesday. I have 2 more night shifts left before the show. It really makes things harder having to work nights- it's a pain in the ass.

I think I'll just stick to tha facts...my cardio, what exercises I did and what I lifted. I spend a lot of time writing this journal and I find it very discouraging that no one posts anything in it. I guess who the hell wants to hear if I had a bad day? No one likes a whiner.

this is sad, you take all this time to post, share your workouts, diet etc........and no one posts anything............come on board, where is all the support for our girl here, she has a competition coming up, doesn't ANYONE here care enuff to show some support!

I have a journal now too....and I'm doing the journal more as a tool...

if I have bad days or need extra support I would start a thread...a vent thread or something.

but don't feel alone....I'll watch this thread more, ok? :)

Thanks BW. I figured that seeing I had a journal, I wouldn't have to start a thread if I had a bad day or needed some support. It's obvious that hardly anyone reads it. I wanted to give up on it but G4E asked me not to.

I would just like to say that everyone deserves support and encouragement regardless of their goal. I know I am only doing a little show compared to what most of you guys do, but the prep is basically the same. And it shouldn't matter if I was competing or not.

I wouldn't mind so much if I didn't contribute to this forum, but I post pretty regularly and try to bring some interesting articles, etc to the board. I feel really bad that G4E had to post a thread about this.

Yer lookin good IG! I have no idea about how to prep for a contest but, your doin something right. Keep it up! dont get discouraged, you have posted some useful threads as well. :)
 
Thanks guys. You don't have to know anything about contest prep. Just hearing "good job", "keep it up", etc, etc is motivating...anything at all from time to time. At least I know people are interested enough to read. I hope you all understand where I'm coming from. :o I'm a little too sensitive I guess too...
 
Yes you are sensitive cause you are precontest. Understandable. I do know that emotions can run high. :)
 
I don't know a whole lot about competing, etc. but it looks like you are doing really well with your workouts. Good luck at your competition! :)
 
Im here IG!! I want to apologize on my part for not posting. There are no excuses.

I would also like to mention that if you EVER need my opinion, advice, or anything of that nature I'm only a pm away. Hell, if you just want to talk about how shitty your day was I'm all ears ;) I know how hard it is to compete. Having people by your side helps out tremendously.

mpresiv....I was so glad to see your post!! Thank you so much. You've already been a big help and it's nice to know I have your support :) Competing is the most awesome experience but getting there can be a struggle as you know.

I'm always "iffy" about posting pics....glad you liked them :)

I tried to get a start on my routine today. My song is "Five to One" by Marilyn Manson. It's a Doors tune. I'm going to work on it tonight while I am at work! What a switch from last year..lol..I had my routine 2 months before and practiced the shit out of it. Now I'm so laid back about that part of it...wouldn't know if I was a real pro!!
 
I can't figure out why you would ever be iffy about posting pics, you look awesome, and have much to be proud of
 
Sorry I haven't read all 10 pages of this yet, but that is some amazing progress. You got huge calves too. I wish mine were even close to that. Good work!
 
:) G4E, you ARE my biggest fan, so of course you'd say that!! I appreciate it though. I'll never look good enough for me..lol..I have come a very long way but that's all behind me now, I just want to look better :) You wouldn't believe how many pics I take until I get a few I'm willing to post!!

Musicman..thanks! My calves are huge..lol..they always have been. Imagine being a teenage girl with those friggers. God, I hated them. Now I'm proud of them. They come in handy in the BB world :)
 
one thing I will NEVER EVER do is give ANYONE a compliment, that I do not mean. I refuse to do that, if someone does not look good in my opinion, I will just not comment, I will never make up something, I am always honest. I hate liars with a passion!

I totally hear you on the picture thing....I have taken so many pics and just deleted them...lol...and the ones I do post I am sometimes reluctant...but anyway....it sounds stupid I know...b/c in reality I do know that I look good and I'm proud of that....but we look at ourselves so much differently than others do...and unfortunately compare ourselves in unrealistic ways.

But you really are impressive, keep it up and make a conscious effort to push harder every time you step into the gym.

Wheres the training IG?

My gym closed for 4 days over the holiday weekend...how lame!! So I did double cardio on Friday, Sat I did one cardio and a lameass leg workout..lol..just lots of bodyweight squats, lunges, side lunges, and DB bicep curls. Sunday and Monday were double carido days. I walked outside and used my parents treadmill.

So today the gym was open and here's what I did. Did my cardio this morning after I got off. 30 min on stepper, 20 on elliptical, 10 on the bike.

Flat DB press....40 x 7/6/5

Shoulder press machine....90 x 7/5/4
I dropped the weight back from 100 lbs. No sense killing myself now this far out from the show. I find I am just as strong on some exercises but weaker on others, like this one.

Close grip bench....90 x 6/2
WTF??

Wide grip lat pulldowns....90 x 8/6/5
Dropped the weight back by 15 lbs. I hate this exercise probably most of all.

Rack deads....180 x 4/6
My grip in my left hand just completely gives out. My right one is perfect. Pisses me off cause I could have lifted more other than that.

No stretching cause I had to work again tonight and never had time. Not a bad workout.

Weight 148.4 :) Really starting to lean out now. And I am feeling GREAT!!
